I have this over abundance of swiss chard growing in my yard at the moment! The wonderful thing is my plants had survived from last year and I haven't had to replant! We love swiss chard in our house and this is a super easy way to prepare it! A few little health benefits of swiss chard from the new whole foods encyclopedia are chard is homeostatic and helps stop hemorrhage. It also supports the liver and the lungs. It is also an excellent source of chlorophyll. Eat up and enjoy!

  2. Our chard "wintered over," too! We like to saute some garlic in olive oil, then add the chard to cook until wilted. Love it!
