Crock Pot Baby Back Rib Sandwiches in Homemade BBQ Sauce

Since we've been friends for sometime now I figure I probably should share these Crock Pot Baby Back Ribs in Homemade BBQ Sauce and if your feeling a little extra saucy like us you can eat them between a crusty bun with a few dill pickle chips and some sliced red onion.

They are soo good and soo messy but a girl needs a reason every now and then to lick the sauce off her fingers.

These are perfect for that excuse!

I promise the man sitting next to you won't care your smothered in bbq sauce he'll be too busy lick'n his fingers or trying to lick yours..

Yes these are that good!

If your lucky he might just be so dang smitten he'll wash the dishes too but I can't make any promises in that department.

Gluten Free Chicken Tamale Skillet Casserole

Gluten Free Chicken Tamale Skillet Casserole
We had a simple Valentines Day this year and stayed home with the kids and devoured Chicken Tamale Skillet Casserole and cuddled up on the couch with Strawberry Grapefruit Mimosas to watch Armageddon.

Sometimes I love simple just as much as I love to get dressed up and go out.  My slippers where much more comfortable then dress shoes and we didn't have to wait on a table that Colt has reserved 3 weeks prior. This last year I've learned to be greatful for the small things, the little love notes he leaves me and phone calls home.

I couldn't think of a better dinner to tell him I love him then this Gluten Free Tamale Chicken Casserole, we both love Mexican food and this recipe is comfort food at it's best. Cornbread covered in chicken cooked in homemade enchilada sauce and then smothered with cheese.

Sometimes it's the little things you have to take time to enjoy and this casserole is one of those things. The only down side to this casserole is we both decided we wanted the leftovers for lunch on the same day but Colt beat me to them.

Next time I'll make sure to hide them better.

Strawberry Grapefruit Mimosas are the perfect cocktail for anytime. An easy recipe to make and favorite at brunch from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.

Are you looking for something refreshing to enjoy with the one you love on Valentines day?

Strawberry Grapefruit Mimosas are the way to go with their bright pink color and refreshing flavor. The perfect cocktail to enjoy for brunch or an after dinner cocktail.

Colt was teasing me the whole time while we were putting these together about my girly drink but after his first sip he said now I know what this summers goto cocktail will be. It's so light and refreshing yet not too sweet and he said my drink was girly.

I promise you this is the perfect cocktail to swoon the one you love or enjoy with your bestie curled up on the couch watching a movie.

One Skillet Cheeseburger Helper With A Gluten Free Option

I'm ashamed to tell you this but when Colt and I first got married we lived off of the convenience of Hamburger Helper.

It was cheap and our budget was tight. Our use of hamburger helper didn't last long once we had Lorna I started to become aware of labels and what we were eating and it quickly disappeared from our cupboard.

But the need of an easy, quick minimal dish for dinner didn't.

I love this One Skillet Cheeseburger Helper. It's so easy to make and can be made gluten free using brown rice penne or macaroni noodles.

Our family can't even tell the difference when I use the brown rice noodles, it's devoured just as fast.
The leftovers have been fought over every time I make this, I promise this won't disappoint.

Blueberry Muffins

The best easy Blueberry Muffin recipe for breakfast or brunch.

The best easy Blueberry Muffin recipe for breakfast or brunch from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.

I've had a long time total obsession with blueberries.

I'm pretty sure it started sometime at a very early age, like as soon as I could eat any type of solid food I was shoving the little blue gems in my mouth.

Granny always had a few blueberry bushes growing in the back yard that I nibbled off the ripe fruit daily during the summer.

I don't know how but she always seemed to stock pile enough blueberries in the freezer to keep a winter supply of the sweet little berries available for Blueberry Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce,  and of course Blueberry Muffins.

The 2 things I really liked to eat as a kid other than Puff Pancakes for breakfast.

I love the smell of the warm muffins fresh out of the oven, it always reminds me of the wonderfully, amazing woman who inspired me to cook.

These Blueberry Muffins are for you Granny, warm out of the oven smothered in butter just like the ones you would make for me!

Here's how I make these easy Blueberry Muffins:

Tuesday Tips How To Store Tall Boots

How To Store Tall Boots
I love my tall boots but I really hate when they become creased at the ankle from flopping over in the closet.
Ugh..So frustrating!
Never fear my friends!
This is so easy you won't believe it.
Today I bring you one of my favorite life hacks how to store tall boots without boot inserts because who ever remembers to buy tall boot inserts when your at the store?
Not this girl I fail miserably even though I can't stand to see them creased so I usually end up storing my boots in their box on their sides but this is the perfect solution for storing boots.
I almost forgot it's also a great way to save your favorite magazines you aren't ready to part with.

Grab all those old magazines you have laying around and roll them up into a long tube and place into your tall boots make sure the tube goes all the way down to the heel.
Yep that's it! How easy was that.

Look how nice and straight my boots stay now preventing premature creasing.
I leave the magazines in the boots when I store them in their box over the summer to help retain shape.

My Frye's have a thin ankle so I needed to unzip my boots before adding the rolled up magazine and then zip them.
The magazines will expand to fill the boot and hold them straight.
