Winter Fruit Salad With Feta Poppy Seed Dressing
I love winter fruit. The smell of the fresh citrus at the market always leaves me inspired this time of year. We recently tried Simply Artisan Reserve™ Simply Seasons™ from Litehouse, Inc. who sponsored this post. I found their Feta Cheese Simply Seasons the perfect use to make our favorite Winter Fruit Salad with Feta Poppy Seed Dressing.  It's perfect as a side with breakfast, lunch, or dinner, and it makes a great accompaniment to holiday gatherings.

The feta really adds a nice contrast of flavors to the oranges, grapefruit, and pears. The Feta Poppy Seed Dressing helps the Winter Fruit Salad keep from browning with all the citrus juice, and really brings the flavors together.

Even if you are hesitant of the flavors in this salad I suggest giving it a try, LJ is fairly particular about cheese, but absolutely loved the feta with the winter fruit.
I find Simply Artisan Reserve™Simply Seasons a must have in my kitchen this holiday season. The soft, velvety texture of the finely crumbled cheese in a shakeable jar makes it the perfect accompaniment to dress up your winter dishes like soup, hors d'oeuvres, pasta, main dishes, or even sprinkled over fruit for a sweet treat. The glass jar with an easy flip top lid makes it easy to use, and fits easily in the refrigerator door. The possibilities are endless.

Winter Fruit Salad with Feta Poppy Seed Dressing          Winter Fruit Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing is easy to assemble: In a shakeable jar add 1 teaspoon Orange Zest, 1 teaspoon Pink Grapefruit Zest, 1/4 cup Fresh Pink Grapefruit Juice, 3 tablespoons Honey, 2 tablespoon Poppy Seeds, and shake until well combined. Add 2 Peeled and Segmented Pink Grapefruit, 2 Peeled and Segmented Oranges, 2 Cored and Sliced Red Pears, and Seeds of 1 Pomegranate, drizzle with Poppy Seed Dressing. Then sprinkle generously with Feta Cheese Simply Seasons. Toss until well combined, and then sprinkle with additional Feta Simply Seasons when serving, if desired.

A simple, easy to make salad that's perfect for your next holiday gathering, or just because.
