There's 160 calories in 1/4 cup Jasmine rice alone, and this recipe offers at least 1/3 per serving (dry). Very tasty, though, and I am sharing with my sister.CalorieLogginMamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10394724900452048473noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-679376249136878227.post-21062327476647128062019-05-05T09:53:49.904-07:002019-05-05T09:53:49.904-07:00This is a recipe we come back to time and again. ...This is a recipe we come back to time and again. This was my first time making cilantro lime rice. It was a big hit with everybody going back for more rice! I got caught without fresh garlic so I substituted a 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. I used calrose rice since that's what I have in the house right now. Can't wait to try it with Jasmine rice which we often have. Also, since I have a rice cooker and love it, after everything was done in the skillet I just threw it all in the rice cooker and added the water and then finished with the lime and cilantro per the directions. it cooked up perfectly! Thanks for taking the time to share your recipe!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-679376249136878227.post-73754822805312437202017-01-24T15:01:50.238-08:002017-01-24T15:01:50.238-08:00Can you make this using a rice cooker? Can you make this using a rice cooker?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-679376249136878227.post-57293029173661599022016-09-27T08:53:09.200-07:002016-09-27T08:53:09.200-07:00Jasmine rice takes less water to cook than long gr...Jasmine rice takes less water to cook than long grain white rice.
