Weekly meal ideas to help get supper on the table week 1.

Weekly Meal Plan to help feed your family| Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch #Menu #Recipe #Dinner

After several friends have asked me for a weekly meal plan and then a survey on Facebook showed so many of you would be interested, I decided I would start doing a Thursday meal plan.
I'm going to mainly concentrate on dinner because I think this is where so many of us run into frustration with feeding our families.

The names of the recipes are links directly to the recipes. At the bottom of each post there is a blue recipe tab right before the directions for the recipe. This tab can be used to save ingredient list in Ziplist and to create a shopping list for the ingredients you will need for the week. I love Ziplist because it's taken the hassle out of trying to figure out what I need for each recipe before I head to the store, it does all the work for you.

Perfect Waffles with Strawberries
Sunday:

Breakfast:  Perfect Waffles

We start out Sunday mornings with Waffles and make a double batch to freeze the leftovers immediately on a cookie sheet and then store them in a large ziploc bag for an additional fast breakfast option during the week for the kids. We just place them directly in the toaster to reheat.

Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff

Sunday Supper: Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff and Hawaiian Dinner Rolls

If Colt's lucky and the kids didn't devour all of the Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff he will take the leftover to work the next day for lunch.

This is the most requested breakfast item in our house and my all time favorite.

  5. Looks like you're eating well all week. It's been too long since I've made a puff pancake.

  6. Serena, you're very inspiring and amazing! I truly believe meal planning is the key for people to stay in for dinner instead of eating out or taking out food (which can be unhealthy). That being said, it's not too easy to come up with a whole week of dinner menus. And you do help a lot of people buy suggesting meal plans! We can always tweak recipe by things we have in the fridge etc, but this is a great start! I'd be happy dining at your home... :)

    1. Thanks so much Nami.. I agree it's so much easier to have a meal plan and keeps us from the last minute temptation to eat out.
