Tropical Green Smoothie

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Safeway. All opinions are 100% mine.

Tropical Green Smoothie in a glass cup with a slice of pineapple on the edge.

Mason had braces put on last week and his diet has consisted of mainly smoothies since his teeth have been tender. So, I've been making him a lot of these Tropical Green Smoothies to make sure he's still getting plenty of veggies and protein.

The pineapple, mango, kiwi, orange, and banana add plenty of sweetness. Making it easy to slip in some kale and spinach so he's still getting enough veggies.

I've searched for a long time for a vegan protein powder that didn't have a gritty texture and was super surprised when I saw that Open Nature® has recently come out with a Vanilla and Chocolate Plant Based Protein Powder with 21 grams of Protein in each scoop while I was at my local Safeway. Mason usually isn't big on protein powder because of the texture but he's become fond of both to get his protein.

Here's how I make this delicious Green Smoothie recipe:

Protein Powder, Bananas, Kale, Mango, Pineapple, Container of Almond Milk and Spinach on a wooden board.

Tropical Green Smoothie is also a favorite in our house for busy school mornings so I made sure to grab all my favorite O Organics® and Open Nature products to make these.

I love the O Organic and Open Nature offer high quality plant-based products available at a great value in the Seattle area exclusively at Stores.

O Organics and Open Nature plant-based products are a great budget friendly, high protein alternative to meat, without sacrificing quality and flavor making them a favorite for these dairy free smoothies.
