Chocolate Chip Treasure Cookies

These Chocolate Chip Treasure Cookies are so soft and chewy. They are an eggless cookie with only 9 ingredients and so easy to make.

We love them for Christmas Cookie Trays and for the lunchbox.

Chocolate Chip Treasure Cookies

Treasure Cookies were the very first cookie recipe I shared on the blog and I figured it was about time we revisit one of my very favorite cookies with a few picture updates.

These are by no means healthy but they are very moist, chewy and delicious! If you like coconut and chocolate these are a must make!

Plus if you like to eat raw dough which not to my surprise you all do, this dough has no raw eggs so you can eat until your little heart is content. I won't even judge or shoo away your hand.

I probably ate more then my fair share of dough in the process of making these.

(Remember we agreed I won't judge you if you don't judge me!)

Treasure Cookies are absolutely to die for if you like coconut, nuts and chocolate.

This recipe was given to me from my neighbor Cathy. Oh my does she make the most delicious cookies.

There have been a few times I had thought I should ask her to do  a Cookies with Cathy Tuesday, maybe once school gets started again.

She has such a fantastic cookie recipe collection, and is such a kind person.

  6. Great post and they look delicious, but seriously, what is everyone's beef with raw dough? Raw dough is not going to kill you. It contains raw eggs. Big deal, so does Hollandaise sauce and I'm sure you don't get all miffed with people when they each that.

The salmonella thing was a myth spread by health minister Edwina Curry in the early nineties. In 1992 there were only three confirmed cases of salmonella from eggs. She was widely criticised for crashing the egg market with bogus claims. YOU ARE SAFE TO EAT RAW EGGS PEOPLE.

Aside from that, going to make me some cookies when I get in tonight!

  8. This looks like the ingredient list for 7 layer bars, but in cookie form. Sounds delicious and looks like they hold together better than the bars do!
