The perfect chowder on a cold day. Seafood Chowder has a thick and creamy base made with leeks, plenty of potato, cod or other white fish, shrimp, scallops, clams, and lots of crab. This Seafood Chowder is special enough for company but so delicious it deserves a spot on the Sunday Supper rotation. We frequently enjoy it for Christmas Eve or New Years Eve.

Does it taste fishy? Want to make this for Super Bowl but my sister is worried about the fishy taste possibly?
It tastes like Seafood. Whatever you add to it, it will taste like. Cods a pretty mild fish and not very strong. Just make sure to use fresh seafood.
If fish ever tastes fishy it's because the fish isn't fresh. Always buy the freshest and handle it properly.
Can this be frozen
I haven't tried freezing it to see how it defrosts but it seems like it should work. Thanks, Serena
