Orange Cranberry Muffins from scratch are tender and moist with plenty of juicy cranberries and orange flavor. These are a holiday favorite recipe for Christmas breakfast or brunch from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.

I don't know what it is I love so much about tart little cranberries but boy do I love them especially when combined with orange.

Cranberry Orange Muffins, breads, cakes and cranberry sauce all speak my inner love language.

Colt and I teamed up Sunday morning to make Orange Cranberry Muffins, scrambled eggs and fresh fruit.

These were so good they barely lasted an hour in our house and the kids were circling around the last muffin like little buzzards waiting to devour their prey.

Sadly for them I stepped in and enjoyed the last little cranberry orange laced muffin for myself because I'm the mom and it solved any complaints of unfairness that might arise from who ate the last muffin.

I made these after a little Facebook survey to find out if the frozen cranberries in my freezer from last year were still okay to eat.

Thank the lord for my Facebook readers because after much reassurance I went ahead and used the little frozen gems and they were just as delicious as they were last year.

I couldn't believe they survived a whole year in the freezer without being used...

Sneaky..Sneaky.. Little cranberries!

Here's how I make my Orange Cranberry Muffin recipe:

Skinny Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins
I was given 2 cookbooks for this review but didn't receive any further compensation for this post and giveaway all thought and opinions are my own.
I received a copy of Sally's Baking Addiction Cookbook in the mail last week and I'm excited to have an additional copy to giveaway to one of you!

It was really hard deciding which of her recipes to make first, so many drool worthy photos. If you haven't stopped by Sally's blog you can finder her at Sally's Baking Addiction where she shares lots of delicious treats to keep you drooling.

We decided Sunday morning to make Sally's Skinny Chocolate Chip Muffins to help kick start our day along with some loaded scramble eggs and fresh fruit. DELICIOUS!

The texture is a little bit different from traditional muffins because it used yogurt in place of butter or oil to cut calories but a few less calories is always a good thing.

Sally used honey in the muffins that left the house with such a delicious smell of honey and banana as the muffins baked, it was hard to wait for them to cool.

We thought they were best fresh from the oven. We didn't even slather them with butter.

Blueberry Muffins

The best easy Blueberry Muffin recipe for breakfast or brunch.

The best easy Blueberry Muffin recipe for breakfast or brunch from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.

I've had a long time total obsession with blueberries.

I'm pretty sure it started sometime at a very early age, like as soon as I could eat any type of solid food I was shoving the little blue gems in my mouth.

Granny always had a few blueberry bushes growing in the back yard that I nibbled off the ripe fruit daily during the summer.

I don't know how but she always seemed to stock pile enough blueberries in the freezer to keep a winter supply of the sweet little berries available for Blueberry Pancakes with Blueberry Sauce,  and of course Blueberry Muffins.

The 2 things I really liked to eat as a kid other than Puff Pancakes for breakfast.

I love the smell of the warm muffins fresh out of the oven, it always reminds me of the wonderfully, amazing woman who inspired me to cook.

These Blueberry Muffins are for you Granny, warm out of the oven smothered in butter just like the ones you would make for me!

Here's how I make these easy Blueberry Muffins:

Bakery-Style Double Chocolate Muffins

Baker-Style-Double-Chocolate-Muffins.jpg
I've been in love with muffins lately. A muffin and a cuppa coffee or tea and I'm good to go.
Add a little chocolate to the mix and I think I've made it to heaven.
It feels a little naughty having chocolate for breakfast but I think that's what makes it so fun!
These muffins are chocolaty but have a  light texture and the coffee helps intensify the chocolate flavor.
These are defiantly a perfect Double Chocolate Muffin in my book!

Delicious Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins With Streusel.. Can life get any better then these? I think not.
I'm not sure there is any better way to start the day than with Blueberry Oatmeal Muffins With Streusel and a spot of coffee or tea.
These muffins have a wonderful texture with pop in your mouth blueberries and a crunchy oat streusel.
I can't tell you these are the ultimate in healthiness but I will tell you they are totally delicious and the oatmeal adds a fabulous texture to the muffins!
