Homemade Chicken Stock
Homemade Chicken Stock from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.

2 whole Roasted Chicken Bones, Meat and Skin Removed
1 whole Onion, Quartered
4 cloves Garlic, Peeled
2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary Or 2 teaspoons Dried
3 sprigs Fresh Thyme or 2 teaspoons Dried
2 whole Bay Leaves
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Turmeric
16 cups Water
In a large stock pot add chicken bones, onion, garlic, springs of rosemary and thyme, bay leaves, salt, pepper, turmeric, and water.
Bring to a simmer and cover. Cook for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove chicken bones and strain broth through a sieve or kitchen cheesecloth to remove remaining remnants. Taste broth and add additional salt as needed. If time allows refrigerate broth until ready to use and skim fat off top once it solidifies.
