The hardest part of making this Hot Bacon Dip is avoiding eating the dip before it's even baked! At least that was our issue. It's so good even cold.



Hot Cheesy Bacon Dip is so creamy and cheesy it's great served with toasted baguettes, sourdough bread, crackers, or chips. The bacon gives it a wonderful smokiness.


It can be assembled ahead of time and heated when ready to serve making it a great dip for a party. We also love it for lazy weekends at home to snack on midday to tide us over until dinner.



I had stocked up on everything I needed to make this Hot Cheesy Bacon Dip the previous weekend at my local Safeway. The ingredients are staples in our house.

I love Open Nature® Uncured Applewood Smoked Bacon for this dip. It's a favorite in our house for breakfast, BLT's, and any other time we have a recipe needing bacon! To make the Hot Cheesy Bacon Dip mix together:


  • 12 ounces Open Nature® Uncured Applewood Smoked Bacon, Diced and Cooked Until Crispy
  • 8 ounces O Organics® Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
  • 1 cup O Organics® Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons O Organics® Fresh Chives, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon O Organics® Fresh Dill, Chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Granulated Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon O Organics® Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper


Add 2 cups Lucerne® Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend.


Mix together until well combined and evenly distributed.


Spread dip evenly in a 1 1/4 quart oven safe baking dish.

Sprinkle an additional 1/2 cup Lucerne® Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend over the top.

Bake in a 400° oven for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.


Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon Fresh Chopped Chives.

Serve with toasted baguette, sourdough bread, crackers, chips or whatever else you love to dip!

Hot Cheesy Bacon Dip

Hot Cheesy Bacon Dip

Hot Cheesy Bacon Dip made with crispy bacon, cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, granulated garlic, dill, and chives.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces Open Nature® Uncured Applewood Smoked Bacon
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, Room Temperature
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh Chives, Chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Dill, Chopped
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Granulated Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Hot Sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon O Organics® Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups Lucerne® Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°.
  2. Dice bacon and cook until brown. Drain bacon well.
  3. Mix together bacon, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, chives, dill, granulated garlic, hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and 2 cups shredded cheese.
  4. Spread in a 1 1/4 quart oven safe dish. Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
  5. Bake for 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
  6. Serve with your favorite bread, crackers or chips for dipping.
