Broccolini is a favorite easy quick side dish recipe! It's so simple to make Oven Roasted Broccolini with olive oil, garlic, lemon, lemon zest and a little salt. It's absolutely delicious!

Broccolini is a favorite quick side dish recipe that's oven roasted with garlic and lemon for a delicious flavor from Serena Bakes Simply From Scratch.

I promised you yesterday a quick easy veggie to accompany our Quick Herbed Panko Baked Shrimp done in under 30 minutes and this is it Oven Roasted Broccolini.

It's so easy and the broccolini comes out perfectly al dente every time.

If you happen to be making yesterdays Quick Herbed Panko Baked Shrimp the Roasted Broccolini goes in the oven at the same time as the shrimp for a perfectly timed meal.

Between the kids in basketball, our dishwasher deciding to stop working a little over 2 weeks ago and my back being totally unpredictable we've been trying to keep dinner low key, yet full of flavor.

Roasted Broccolini is so delicious and easy to make it doesn't require much skill.

The hardest part can be finding broccolini. I've seen it before in the produce section with little rubber bands rapped around the stalks. Costco use to carry it in our area but I haven't seen it in awhile. The most dependable source for broccolini has been our Trader Joes.

Here's how I make our favorite Broccolini Recipe:

Cast Iron Skillet filled with washed Raw Broccolini.

Wash 1 pound Broccolini well and trim ends.

Place in a large cast iron skillet or on a baking sheet. I like the cast iron skillet because it's so easy to clean.

Cast Iron Skillet with Broccolini and a tablespoon filled with Olive Oil.

Drizzle with 1 tablespoon Olive Oil.

Broccolini in a cast iron pan with a 1/2 teaspoon filled with Granulated Garlic.

Add a 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic and salt.

Sometimes we use 1-2 cloves fresh Garlic Minced instead of the granulated garlic, it gives the broccoli a little bite.

Add the zest of 1 lemon and use your hands to coat broccolini evenly by tossing.

Spread on a baking sheet or cast iron pan and bake in a 425 degree oven for 12-15 minutes until lightly brown and tender.

  1. Oh, girl...you are teasing me with your roasted broccolini! I just adore broccoli but cannot eat it right now as it is too rich in vitamin K for my blood during my current therapy. I'm looking forward to eating broccoli again soon and I'll be back for this recipe! Thank you for sharing, my friend. xo
